We need real action, not just words - London First comment on government announcement of £8m campaign to attract Chinese visitors

Commenting on day's announcement of a new £8m marketing campaign targeting Chinese visitors
Michael Rooney, Chief Operating Officer at London First, said:
“Government commitment to improving the tourist visa system and increasing flights to China is welcome. But for the UK to succeed in these growth-supporting aims we urgently need a strategy for increasing air capacity in London and SE and action on visa requirements and service levels. We need real action on both, not just words.”
