Ofqual publishes research into language teachers' views about controlled assessment

Ofqual has today published a report into Controlled Assessment in Modern Foreign Languages.
This report follows on from earlier research which looked at teachers' views of controlled assessment in a range of GCSE subjects. Today's report focuses on the issues identified in the first report relevant specifically to MFL subjects.
The findings of this report will feed into a wider review that Ofqual is currently carrying out into the role of Controlled Assessment in all GCSE subjects. We will be reporting on this wider review, which included a call for evidence to stakeholders, in the autumn. Further details are available here:
