GMB welcomes BAE £2.5bn deal

It has been a tough year for many people and this is a bright point in an otherwise dark time for the economy says GMB
GMB welcomed today's announcement that BAE Systems has won a £2.5 billion deal to sell 20 aircraft to Oman
David Hulse, GMB National Officer said, "This is great news for the many GMB members employed by BAE systems as well as those working in the companies in the supply chain. It has given a boost to GMB members families and their local communities. It has been a tough year for many people and this is a bright point in an otherwise dark time for the economy."
