Professional bodies are an essential part of the UK's economic fabric, providing support, raising standards and offering a collective voice for Britain's workforce. But they are so much more than that. Non-partisan, not-for-profit and, in the case of Chartered Institutes, with a remit to work in the public interest, they contribute a great deal of expert research and knowledge on their professional area, be that computing or customer service, law, learning or financial services. As well as improving standards across the UK's professions, these institutions can help improve the quality of policy making, and this dialogue aims to showcase the best way to do this.
On this site you will find the latest news on the research the dialogue has undertaken, hear from the partners about their reasons for undertaking this project, and read relevant, useful information from MPs and partners.
