Action for Children is a children's charity that helps the most vulnerable and neglected children and young people in the UK break through injustice, deprivation and inequality, so they can achieve their full potential. We support more than 156,000 children, young people and their families across the UK.
We work in local communities with children and young people:
• whose families need support
• who cannot live with their birth families
• who are disabled
• who experience severe difficulties in their lives
We also speak out on behalf of children and young people and we campaign for changes that will end the cycle of deprivation and challenge injustice and inequality. Our campaigns aim to make a difference to all vulnerable children, young people and families, as well as those we work with directly.
