The Labour conference continues until Thursday, but the fringe winds up today - here are our picks for Wednesday.
Caroline Flint will be at the New Statesman and Energy Networks Association fringe at 8.30am in the Town Hall on the green economy and energy infrastructure.
At 12.30pm BAME Labour will be holding their event “Young, Gifted and Black – Tackling Youth Unemployment” in Manchester Central, while Unite will be hosting their Reconnecting Labour fringe in their Marquee. Len McCluskey and Jon Trickett are due to attend.
Jon Cruddas and Tony Lloyd will be at the Labour Democratic Network AGM at 12.45pm in Friends Meeting House. The topic of the meeting is giving party members an effective say in policy making.
The Dods PoliticsHome fringe at 1pm, chaired by Paul Waugh, will consider the future of fossil fuels. Tom Greatrex and David Anderson are on the panel in Manchester Central.
At 5pm Douglas Alexander and Peter Kellner from YouGov will discuss November’s
David Miliband and Kevin Brennan will be at the National Literacy Trust fringe, also in Manchester Central, at 5.30pm.
The Young Labour fringe reception and disco will be held tonight in Manchester Central and The Alibi nightclub.
There is one fringe on Thursday – a Young Labour Q&A with a special guest, at 10am.
